Dear Mr. Lockyer,

I have decided that it is in the best interest of everyone that I not pursue my assertion that it was Randy “Duke” Cunningham driving the car which collided with my wife’s and my car on Friday, November 25th, 2005 in San Marcos, CA, which I had previously urged an investigation over.

If it was NOT Cunningham, an investigation should still be mounted, because of the extreme danger the driver might represent, but in my opinion, I believe it was Mr. Cunningham, and so have sent the enclosed letter to Mr. Cunningham through his lawyer (cover letter to the lawyer also enclosed).

Thank you for any attention you might have already given to this matter, but I think it is best not to pursue it, because I think it is more likely to make Cunningham want to continue to cooperate with prosecutors if we let this slide, and there are some very bad fish out there he can help us catch.
